One person is in custody after an alleged attack on another individual at the MGM Springfield casino on Sunday.
A statement from the Springfield Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police says Devon Williams of Springfield walked into the casino and attacked a man from New York state without warning or provocation, causing serious injuries.
Police say the suspect fled the scene but was arrested on Chestnut Street later that day.
The incident is being investigated for a possible connection to a series of attacks earlier that day.
