The Big E's attendance record is being re-written once again.
Officials said there were 172-thousand-659 people who were at the fair on Saturday, about eight-hundred more than the previous high mark for single-day visitor totals.
That previous record was set just last year.
Depending on the weather, one point six million people is possible between now and the end of the fair but it would take a break with the weather in order to get that done.
The Big E concludes on Saturday.
