The state trooper who was reportedly stabbed during a traffic stop in Franklin County is recovering.
Nghia Le of Manchester, New Hampshire pleaded not guilty in his initial arraignment in Orange District Court on Tuesday in connection to the incident earlier this month which resulted in injuries to Trooper Mark Whitcomb in New Salem.
Northwestern District Attorney assistant prosecutor Steven Gagne said Whitcomb has undergone surgery and is recovering from, among other injuries, a collapsed lung and deep muscle and nerve damage to his left arm.
