A marijuana firm is planning a million-dollar renovation of a historic building in downtown Springfield.
The leader of Oregon-based Diem Cannabis presented plans on Saturday for transforming the former Hampden Bank headquarters on Main Street into a recreational marijuana dispensary.
The company has yet to clear any local or state regulatory hurdles.
Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno has said that if a company has a good business model and will bring quality business practices to the city, he would welcome that business.
