Amazon is said to be choosing New York City and northern Virginia as its second headquarters locations.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the announcement is expected as soon as today.
The report said Amazon is dividing the headquarters evenly between Crystal City and New York's Long Island City neighborhood.
The online retail giant has said its second headquarters will bring in about 50-thousand new jobs.
Boston had been one of the top contenders with a proposal for the Seaport District.
