You would have thought that Congressman Richard Neal was on the ballot. Working the phones for the last week or two trying to measure support for Nancy Pelosi in her bid for House Speaker in the next congress.
Neal supports Pelosi.
He tells reporters that as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee he will revisit tax laws that were passed by the republican controlled house.
Almost anything that House Democrats come up with expected to meet a steep challenge in the Republican Controlled Senate.
Neal also warned about the push towards more investigation and he is urging everyone to tone down the rhetoric.
Democrats are expected to caucus today to deal with leadership posts for next year.
