A federal judge says a Massachusetts law making it illegal to secretly record audio of police in public is unconstitutional.
The federal judge's ruling says the recording of public officials while performing their duties is protected by the First Amendment.
The state Attorney General's office is reviewing the ruling and has yet to comment.
