One person died in a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike on Wednesday night.
Massachusetts State Police say the driver of a tractor trailer truck made an illegal U-turn on the highway and was hit by a car in Blandford.
The victim was a 61-year-old man from Shrewsbury who was driving the second vehicle, believed to be a Mustang. according to state police.
The truck driver, a 46-year-old man from Pennsylvania, was reportedly uninjured. All eastbound lanes were initially closed.
