Governor Charlie Baker's second term in office is underway.
Baker took the oath of office at the State House yesterday, saying he delivered on his pledge to make government more hard working and creative in his first term.
The 62-year-old Baker is promising to file a bill expanding telemedicine, where patients and medical professionals can correspond by phone or online.
He also says a bill will be offered to help alleviate the Boston area housing crisis.
Without mentioning names, the Republican Governor who has been called the most popular in the nation urged lawmakers to get out of the statehouse and start listening more to people.
He also said that by listening to their own hearts and minds rather than political rhetoric, they and the state will be better served.
