The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission is sharing the numbers for the first two months of recreational marijuana sales.
Pot shops took in nearly 24-million dollars in revenue, according to just-released data by the commission.
The first stores were opened in late November in Northampton and Leicester.
Since then, several more stores have opened, including one in Easthampton and a couple in Berkshire County.
Meantime, while Massachusetts counts its pot money, in Connecticut, lawmakers are gearing for a big fight over the same issues.
Opponents say that the state is only interested in the money and if approved would create social problems that the state is not prepared to deal with.
