An Bedford, Massachusetts man accused of a kidnapping that took him through Springfield and into Connecticut has been captured in Florida.
Julian Field allegedly committed a home invasion in Concord and forced a resident to drive him to a train station in Connecticut, but not before a stop in Springfield for an attempted drug purchase.
Field ultimately allowed the victim to leave and authorities arrested Field after tracking him to Florida, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
He is scheduled to appear in federal court in that state today and will be brought to Massachusetts at a later date.
