Mayor Dom Sarno is not all that happy with the negotiations that are going on between the Police Supervisors and the City.
Sarno said last night that the city has put a very fair and reasonable contract offer on the table, but that due to unsustainable financial demands, the parties will have to move to arbitration.
In response, union officials say they have negotiated in good faith with the city and they believe they are close to coming to terms on a new deal.
The Supervisors have gone three years without a contract.
