Looks like Joe Morissette may be running for mayor in Chicopee.
He has already pulled nomination papers.
Morrissette is a Navy Veteran and was a member of the Police Department from 1988 to 2012.
A spokesman for the candidate says he is planning a formal announcement.
Current Mayor Richard Kos is retiring from office at the end of the term.
