The family of the Berkshire County woman who was killed in the Ethiopian Airlines crash last month is filing a wrongful death suit against the airline and Boeing.
The federal suit alleges that Boeing rushed to get a new model of airplane onto the market and was therefore responsible for the deadly crash that killed Samya Stumo of Sheffield and over a hundred others.
Samya Stumo was 26 when she died and a graduate of UMass Amherst.
The litigation was announced by Stumo's family in Chicago on Thursday.
