A former governor of Massachusetts is announcing a presidential run in 2020.
Bill Weld announced yesterday that he is seeking the Republican nomination against President Donald Trump.
This is the first time an incumbent president has faced a notable primary challenger since George H.W. Bush in 1992.
Weld served two terms as governor in the nineties and was the Libertarian vice presidential nominee in 2016.
A Campaign Spokesman for the President says they aren't worried at all by the announcement.
