A New York man wanted by U.S. Marshals was arrested in Hampshire County on Thursday.
Massachusetts State Police reports indicate a trooper stopped a vehicle for a loud and defective exhaust in Hatfield.
Authorities reportedly found what they believed to be heroin, crack cocaine and other materials and arrested Shawn Snead, of Staten Island, who was a passenger.
Snead was arraigned in Northampton District Court on a fugitive from justice charge and several counts of drug possession and trafficking.
