Springfield officials are reporting the results of a phishing exercise that it did on its own employees.
Officials say they sent out more than 850 phony emails, some with misspellings and other inaccuracies.
55 of the emails were clicked on. 35 of those filled in information on phony links.
10 employees reported the phishing links.
Andy Doty the Director of Information Technologies says that the email was a way to inform and educate and it did its job.
