Massachusetts General Hospital is confirming a data breach that exposed private information of around ten-thousand people.
The breach is in the hospital's neurology department, where an unauthorized third party accessed data in two computer programs.
It exposed the names and dates of birth of participants in some research programs.
However, it did not expose Social Security numbers or financial info of the victims.
