Springfield Police say a truck driver who had just been fired, stole a truck and then allegedly tried to hit a police cruiser with it.
31 year old Terrence Suggs of Memphis is charged with the incident.
The officers were unhurt.
Police were called to Cadwell Drive for the original incident.
Suggs was arrested on Page Boulevard. He will be arraigned later today.
