There's an alert issued in Longmeadow where one person has been victimized by a computer scam.
Police say residents are getting calls from someone claiming to be a tech-support representative from a well-known company,
In Longmeadow's case it's Comcast.
The impostor requests access to the targeted person's computer to resolve a virus, and once access is gained malware viruses are installed to gather personal information.
