A former Springfield man is being found not guilty in a baby murder case.
A jury in Hampden Superior Court acquitted Miguel Fonseca-Colon on Friday. Fonseca-Colon spent five years in jail for the murder of five-month-old Jadamier Cintron in 2013.
He had been tasked with briefly caring for the child beforehand.
A medical examiner said the infant had over thirty fractured bones; prosecutors alleged Jadamier was beaten.
