The number may sound like a joke, but the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission says recreational marijuana sales this year hit 420-million dollars.
Four-twenty is a number used to refer to weed and April 20th is considered a marijuana holiday of sorts.
This was the first full year for retail pot sales in the state.
There are over 30 stores that have opened, about one-third of which are in Western Massachusetts.
