The National Weather Service has half of Western Massachusetts under an Ice Storm Warning until Tuesday morning.
This storm began on Sunday in Western Massachusetts as a wintry mix.
For western Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties, the weather service says in a Monday morning update that it is predicting additional ice totals of a quarter-to-half-inch with possible isolated amounts up to three-quarters of an inch at elevations above one-thousand feet.
Significant icing is also predicted for the Berkshires.
