The ten-year-old boy whose body was found in the Chicopee River is being identified as Minhal Hussain.
The principal of Sergeant Robert R. Litwin School in Chicopee, where Hussain was a student, shared that information in a Facebook post on Wednesday and said he was laid to rest yesterday.
Hussain and an eleven-year-old cousin both perished as authorities believe both fell through ice on the river last weekend.
