Federal immigration officials are criticizing Connecticut for failing to help catch possibly dangerous illegal immigrants.
The head of ICE in Boston says it's unfortunate that Connecticut elected officials are unable to grasp the threat posed by these criminals.
Acting regional director of ICE Todd Lyons says despite the effort to provide sanctuary to criminal immigrants, they will use all legal tools to safeguard the public.
There has been no reaction from legislative leaders.
