A meeting is scheduled at Springfield City Hall today to discuss how the city is spending its revenue from MGM Springfield.
City Councilor Tracye Whitfield says since joining the council, one of the top questions she receives is about where the MGM money is going.
The public meeting will be jointly conducted by the council's Finance Committee, which Whitfield chairs, and the Casino Oversight Committee at 5 p.m.
Councilors are not suggesting there is a problem. They just want to make sure the city is keeping track of the funding.
