A Winter Weather Advisory is in place today for the western parts of Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.
The National Weather Service says it is in effect from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Mixed precipitation is expected, with total snow accumulations of a coating to one inch and perhaps up to two inches in the far-northwest.
