A new poll shows that Congressman Joe Kennedy has a small lead over incumbent Ed Markey in the U.S. Senate race.
The poll conducted by Suffolk University shows Kennedy leading Markey by a 42 to 36 percent margin.
A poll taken before Kennedy officially entered the race showed him with a 14 point lead over Markey.
The men will face off in the Democratic primary September first.
