Coronavirus is spreading in Western Massachusetts.
Baystate Medical Center says the first confirmed case has been treated in Hampden County.
Baystate says the person is now recovering at home. The Hampshire Regional School District says a member of the Anne Dunphy School community in Williamsburg has been identified as a presumptive-positive COVID-19 patient based on symptoms, but not a positive test because there are a limited number of tests.
Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools has given out similar information about a parent-guardian of a student at Amherst Regional High School being presumptive-positive.
