Six Flags New England is delaying its opening because of the coronavirus.
Officials say they will open in mid May --or soon thereafter. CEO Mike Spanos says although there have been no cases of the virus in its Agawam property-- they want to use extreme caution when it comes to the public’s health.
Spanos says for guests with prepaid tickets, the valid dates have been extended to the end of the 2020 season.
