The requirement that all people in public places wear masks or face coverings goes into effect today across Massachusetts.
Anyone over the age of two-years-old is required to wear a mask while in public when social distancing is not possible.
People who cannot wear a mask because of medical conditions are exempt from the order.
Anyone found violating Governor Charlie Baker's order could face a 300-dollar fine.
