An 18-year-old Western Massachusetts man was arraigned in court on Monday on charges including murder for an alleged knife attack on his aunt and uncle last Friday.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office says Elijah Michonski made his way into the Montague home of Nicholas and Teresa Weir and attacked them; authorities say he then stole their car and drove off, but was arrested shortly thereafter.
Teresa Weir reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but Nicholas Weir did not survive.
Michonski, also of Montague, is being held without bail.
