State education officials are asking Massachusetts schools to prioritize in person learning when classes resume in the fall.
Education Commissioner Jeffrey Riley says the current low transmission rate of coronavirus makes in school instruction more possible.
Riley says the state is holding off on making any final decisions until the restart date draws closer.
Individual school districts have until July 31st to submit three plans for approval, one for in class instruction, another for remote learning and one for a hybrid of the two.
