Democratic Congressional candidate Alex Morse accused incumbent Congressman Richard Neal of involvement in the publishing of allegations against Morse at a press conference on Thursday.
The College Democrats of Massachusetts sent Morse a letter which disinvited him from events and alleged that Morse used his position of power for romantic or sexual gain, including sexual relationships with students at UMass Amherst and other local schools.
Morse taught as an adjunct lecturer at UMass.
He said yesterday he believes it's highly-suspicious that such a story would emerge three weeks before the primary.
Neal released a statement insisting neither he nor his campaign had any involvement.
The two men will debate each other on Monday.
