State Raises Threat Level To Critical In Hampden County Communities

State Health officials say that a second person has been exposed to Triple E and this time it is in Hampden County.

The victim is a woman in her sixties and from Hampden County.

The Health Department does not narrow it down any further than that.

However, State officials say they are raising the risk level in Wilbraham to critical and Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Ludlow, Palmer and Springfield have all seen their risk levels increased to moderate.

Doctors say you should wear long sleeves, use sprays with DEET and avoid sunrise and sunset if you can.

That is the popular mosquito time.
