UMass is changing its mind when it comes to football.
They have announced that they intend to play a limited number of games beginning the middle of October.
Officials say they made the course correction after what they say was a positive review of safety protocols and other factors.
The decision has come after the Big Ten Conference announced that it would resume competition October 24th.
According to officials at UMass--they have administered 18 hundred Covid19 tests with just two that were positive.
Opponents have not been determined yet. Football officials say that will be announced when the schedule is finalized.
