Governor Charlie Baker says President Trump not committing to an orderly transition of power is appalling.
Baker says the hand off of power after a presidential election is a fundamental bedrock of American society.
The governor says it's outrageous for anyone to suggest they are not going to leave if they lose an election.
Trump has cited the widespread use of absentee ballots as a possible reason to challenge the results of the election.
Baker says the election will allow the people to speak and will be fair and accurate.
The President has warned of wide spread voter fraud---and on Twitter this morning said-
"RINO Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts is unsuccessfully trying to defend Mail In Ballots, when there is fraud being found all over the place. Just look at some of the recent races, or the Trump Ballots in Pennsylvania that were thrown into the garbage. Wrong Charlie!"
Governor Baker has not responded.
