A fired Springfield police detective is suing the city.
The suit was filed in Hampden Superior Court by Florissa Fuentes on Monday, demanding she get her job back and be compensated for time she's been off the force.
Fuentes was fired for violating the city's social media policy after "liking" and sharing a Black Lives Matter post from a family member.
The City has not commented on the suit.
No timetable has been set yet either.
