Governor Charlie Baker has announced a series of new measures designed to slow the spread of coronavirus.
Baker is ordering that masks be worn in public at all times by everyone over the age of five, even if they are socially distant from others. Baker's new order also requires restaurants to stop serving at 9:30 each night, with gyms, theaters and casinos also closing at that time.
The governor says people need to stay home between ten p.m. and five a.m., but he stopped short of calling it a formal curfew.
The shutdown order also includes casinos. MGM says it will abide by the order because it is the right thing to do.
Meantime, Chef Nadim Kashouh says his facility will obviously abide by the shutdown order. He says that it won't make a difference to the bottom line because there is very little going on with no events either at Symphony Hall or the Mass Mutual Center.
