Defendants Arraigned In Soldiers' Home Case

Two former officials at the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke have pleaded not guilty to charges related to the coronavirus outbreak there.

Former superintendent Bennett Walsh and former Medical Director David Clinton were arraigned yesterday.

Walsh and Clinton were running the home when the outbreak struck this spring, killing at least 76 residents.

Walsh and Clinton are charged with five counts each of caretaker neglect and causing serious injury to an elderly or disabled person.
