In Connecticut, Governor Ned Lamont is in self-quarantine for the next two weeks after a member of his senior staff has tested positive for Covid19.
It is the first known case of the coronavirus within the office of the Governor.
The person who tested positive --Max Reiss, the Director of Communications for Lamont is the person who has come forward to identify himself as the person who tested positive.
Reiss in a statement says that he does know know where or how he contracted the virus.
Reiss did say that some in his family had been self quarantining because of an exposure his kids may have gotten at school.
He says however that everyone in his family has tested negative.
Neither Reiss nor any other member of his family are experiencing any issues.
