Black Friday shoppers are looking for good deals. Many big chain retailers closed this year for Thanksgiving because of coronavirus. Some shoppers did what they always did and showed up at stores to wait for the doors to open. Others took things more in stride. The Playstation Five appears to be one of the hottest items in demand. A lot of stores are offering curbside pickup. According to a survey by the National Retail Foundation, fewer than half of U.S. consumers say they plan to go shopping in person this holiday season. Meantime, area police departments are suggesting that if you are ordering things on-line to have those items sent to your workplace in order to avoid having them stolen off your front steps by porch pirates."
