The Baker administration has rescinded an offer to state prisoners of possible early release if they receive the coronavirus vaccine.
The offer was terminated when the governor's office determined it was not consistent with the administration's policies on reduced prison terms.
The state had offered prisoners seven and a half days of earned good time if they received both shots and read educational materials.
Prisons were part of phase one of the vaccine rollout, and 35 hundred state inmates have received the first shot.
