The National Weather Service overnight Monday dropped a Winter Storm Watch for much of Southern New England and replaced it with a Winter Weather Advisory.
About an inch of mixed precipitation is expected for Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties, including snow, sleet and ice.
This is expected to start Monday night and continue into Tuesday.
Into Tuesday we may see another 1/10th of an inch of ice which will make driving treacherous.
After a break on Wednesday, a moderate snow event is expected on Thursday, with less than six inches predicted for the day.
The stormy week is expected to end with more rain on Friday.
