Springfield Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man on Main Street overnight.
Police say that they were called to the 300 block of Main Street early this morning and as they were getting there they saw a private vehicle taking the victim to the hospital. Police performed CPR.
The victim later died.
Police have not announced a motive yet
There have been no arrests.
