Governor Charlie Baker is making teachers, school staff and child care workers eligible for the coronavirus vaccine. Baker yesterday gave in to pressure from President Biden and opened vaccine eligibility to the group of 400-thousand state residents. The school and child care workers can begin to make vaccination appointments on March eleventh. Baker says it will take around a month for the entire group to receive the first shot.
Teachers say they want to make sure now that the schools are safe.
