Governor Charlie Baker is rejecting a call by state teachers to be vaccinated for coronavirus at their school buildings.
The Baker administration quickly turned down the request, saying it would take shots out of the arms of the state's most vulnerable people.
Teachers became eligible to book vaccine shots yesterday.
State officials say 95 percent of teachers are under the age of 65 and are much less likely to get sick or die from the virus.
