Western Mass Hot Spots For Covid19 Revealed

The number of Massachusetts communities deemed to be at high risk for coronavirus has dropped by ten to 49. The state launched the metric for determining whether cities and towns are at high risk last summer. The number of high risk communities climbed over 200 in the winter, and it has now dropped for the second week in the row. Nine communities joined the list this week, while 20 cities and towns were removed.

Chicopee, Hampden, Holyoke, Ludlow, Palmer, Southwick and Springfield remain on the Hot Spot list. West Springfield was on it. This report they have been dropped to the yellow or moderate category,
