Governor Charlie Baker says nearly all remaining coronavirus restrictions in the state will end May 29th.
The state is also lifting the indoor mask mandate for fully vaccinated people on that date as well.
Masks will still be required in some congregate situations, mostly high risk places such as public transportation and schools.
Baker also says the state of emergency in Massachusetts that had been in place since last March will be ending on June 15th.
Meantime, officials at The Big E say that there will be no masking required at this year's fair.
