A funeral mass will be held today for Worcester Police Officer Manny Familia.
The officer died last week while trying to save a teenager from drowning in Green Hill Pond.
Thousands of family, friends and police officers from all over attended calling hours for Familia yesterday at St. John Church in Worcester.
A funeral mass is scheduled for this morning at the church on Temple Street.
Springfield Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood is leading a contingent of officers from across the region, including from West Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke and Ludlow.
